Managing ADHD as a late diagnosed female

Many women take on the executive functioning of the household and family – on top of managing their own lives and ADHD. It can feel overwhelming, exhausting, and isolating.

Led by Heather DeAngelis, a licensed mental health practitioner and ADHD specialist who has walked this path herself—you’ll get the latest in research in female ADHD.

Topics we’ll explore together:

  • Hormones – how they impact ADHD at different life stages
  • Perfectionism – letting go of impossible standards
  • Shame – rewriting the stories we tell ourselves
  • Emotion Regulation – understanding and managing intense feelings
  • Relationships – navigating ADHD with friendships, family, and at work

This safe, judgment-free space is where you will learn practical strategies to navigate ADHD in everyday life.

Why a Group Program is the Perfect Kickstart for Change

woman encouraged in adhd group coachingIf you’re feeling stuck in your ADHD journey, a group program is one of the best ways to build momentum. While 1-on-1 therapy offers deep, individualized support, a small group setting can be the perfect first step to understanding yourself, learning new strategies, and creating real change in your life.

Here’s how joining a group can jumpstart your growth:

  • Gain Clarity Faster – Hearing others’ experiences helps you see your own patterns more clearly and recognize challenges you didn’t even realize were holding you back.
  • Break Through Isolation – ADHD can feel lonely, but in this group, you’ll meet women who truly understand your struggles. Feeling seen and validated can be life-changing.
  • Learn Proven Strategies – Instead of trial-and-error alone, you’ll get real-life tools and techniques that have worked for others—so you can start making changes right away.
  • Feel Supported & Encouraged – Change is easier when you aren’t doing it alone. This group offers built-in accountability and motivation, so you don’t get stuck in your own head.
  • Build Confidence – As you practice new skills and see real progress, you’ll gain the confidence to take bigger steps—whether that’s in relationships, work, or self-care.

Think of this as your kickstart—helping you build a strong foundation for managing ADHD. And if you find yourself wanting deeper, more individualized support after the group? That’s where 1-on-1 therapy can take you even further.
